Project scope
Sharaf DG approached us with a request to replace the software of their existing parcel lockers, which were used to offer click & collect services for their marketplace customers. As peak season was closing in, we aimed to deliver the solution in just 2 months with the following tasks ahead of us:
Ensure compatibility of new hardware components
Adapt the parcel locker UI and flows
Provide APIs for integration with Sharaf DG ERP system
Solution
Thanks to our hardware agnostic software architecture, we easily integrated with the new hardware. We adapted user flows of customers and maintenance people, translated the UI, implemented webhooks to send out notifications to the Sharaf DG ERP system whenever there were new events related with their order delivery and added some custom functionality in locker network management platform.
In just around 2 months we were able to have a fully operational solution in place. Afterwards we assisted with software deployment to the lockers. Once all lockers were working, we moved to customer support phase, where we monitor the health and operation of the system and assist Sharaf DG whenever necessary.
Maintenance and support
Over the years we are proud to say that our SLA times for the first response have been on average under 15 minutes. As always, we are flexible when it comes to customer support and offer various methods of communication - WhatsApp, JIRA, e-mails, phone calls. Very often a much faster response can be provided over WhatsApp instead of exchanging emails - something other companies tend to avoid.
